Pinzolo  and Surrondings

Pinzolo is located in Trentino, precisely in Val Rendena, just 12 km from Madonna di Campiglio,

at an altitude of 770 meters, surrounded by the beautiful peaks of Brenta and Adamello Presanella.

It has the highest bell tower of Trentino, 72 meters, built with the tonalite of the  nearby Val Genova, in the years 1865-67.

Another point of interest is the cemetery Church of San Vigilio, a true work of art painted by the Baschenis with the Danza Macabra and open to the public with guided tours.

The town center is very sober and quiet, with everything at hand: Church, Markets, Banks, elegant shops and the two ski slopes, that of Doss and Tulot Audi A4 achievable in only 5 minutes from the center. The two tracks are suitable for skiing and snowboarding and in summer they host experts of downhill.

Very well maintaned sport center with soccer fields that in summer host  football training of important teams of Serie A, the well equipped playground for children, the well-kept Ice Stadium, and the bike path that winds along the Val Rendena .

The green areas are not lacking: the Pineta, located along the banks of the Sarca is cured and equipped for relaxing summer walks.

Very close to Pinzolo there is also the Val Genova, reachable from Carisolo, with the beautiful and famous Nardis waterfall and the waterfall trail that leads to the plain of Bedole, at the foot of the Glacier.

Going down the Rendena Valley, at only 5 km. there is  also the termal center of Caderzone with healing waters for many respiratory diseases and hay baths.

And finally, in August, Pinzolo wears the colors of a time with a week dedicated to Rendena Breed Heifers, who go down to the village and parade along the main streets.

A very wide choice that Pinzolo offers is well suited to those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday among the most beautiful mountains in Italy.
